WRAP’s regional business advisors can draw on their local expertise and contacts to offer bespoke advice to recyclers and reprocessors, providing them with access to a variety of business critical support.
The service offers vital support to businesses, whether they are feeling the effects of the global economic slowdown or looking for opportunities to develop and grow. This can range from management, marketing and technical advice to market intelligence. The advisors can also provide insights that will help businesses raise finance, access grants or arrange leases for vital machinery and equipment.
For example, one of the more popular services offered by WRAP is the eQuip scheme which draws on a carefully selected panel of banks and equipment providers to facilitate leasing to the recycling sector. Under the eQuip scheme, WRAP will guarantee the future value of the equipment leased, which will in turn lower the monthly payments that need to be made. Unlike overdraft facilities, lease facilities are not generally repayable on demand or subject to annual reviews so businesses can be sure that as long as they can make payments and honour the terms and conditions of the contract, their lease facility remains secure.
WRAP’s Director of Market Development, Marcus Gover, commented: “RWM is a great place for our teams of advisors from WRAP to go to and offer expert support and advice to the recycling industry and local authorities. I look forward to seeing people at the conference and urge people to attend the seminars and speaker sessions WRAP are delivering. The recycling world is a fast changing one and WRAP is keen to continue to offer quality support and advice.”
