Construction Commitments: Halving Waste to Landfill; the industry responsibility deal launched by WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) in October 2008, today gave the first indication of the impact signatories to the deal are having in curbing the amount of Construction, Demolition and Excavation (CD&E) waste the industry sends to landfill each year.

It also provides benchmarks to help authorities compare their performance with that of similar authorities.
