After completing a free training course Waste Prevention Advisor Volunteers (WPAs) are fully qualified to support and advise residents on how to manage their waste and raring to make a difference in their local communities.
One way they do this is to help man the Better Tomorrows stand at the many local events across West Sussex. You will spot them offering support and advice on how to reduce waste, what to do with waste that is unavoidable, home composting, food waste, cotton nappies, smart shopping and recycling.
Members of the public are keen to learn the finer points of food waste digesters, how to be a smart shopper and what can be recycled. Being qualified to answer questions on this wide range of topics, WPAs are in high demand wherever and whenever the Better Tomorrows stand has a pitch at our community summer events in West Sussex. Look out for the stand and say hello to members of our Waste Prevention Volunteers team!
