Eating things you grow is one of the best parts of gardening and at this time of year (because it is warm and sunny) it is easy to grow things like lettuce, radishes and spring onions. They can be grown from seed in pots, window boxes or outside in the garden. Sow each kind of seed in one patch (look at page 12 in your ‘Starting Gardening’ book, it came with your Welcome Pack) Put a label in each patch so you don’t forget where everything is and water the seeds and plants if they don’t get any rain. In about six weeks they should be ready to pick and eat!
