The Green Club was created in May 2007 to help promote sustainable living. Green Club members are part of a like-minded Green community committed to sustainable living. Launched by West Sussex County Council (WSCC) in partnership District and Borough councils and Viridor Waste Management the Green Club offers members the chance to keep up-to-date with waste initiatives in West Sussex as well as exchanging ideas, news and views. Would you like to volunteer? Passionate about Waste Prevention? Become a qualified West Sussex Waste Prevention Advisor (WPA) Volunteer.2013 offers a new chance to train for free as a West Sussex Waste Prevention Advisor (WPA) volunteer. Our new EU funded e-learning course gives existing and aspiring WPAs a flexible approach to training. Still provided by Dr Ryan Woodard of Brighton University, the course will ensure participants have up-to-the-minute information about current waste messages. In addition volunteers can use their unique skills and expertise to specialise in their own areas of interest as well as deciding on the amount of time they can spend volunteering as a WPA.
